5 Powerful Ways to Write Dynamic Content
So you’ve got a Twitter account and you tweet. You’ve joined Stumbleupon and you stumble. And you’ve built a Facebook profile and you share. But you can’t seem to get the amount of traffic you want. The problem may not be your marketing methods but your content.
Quality content is what really drives a blog to success. It is that quality that turns visitors into readers, readers into subscribers, and subscribers into customers. Even though there are many different ways to promote your blog, content is still king.
Since content is still so important to the success of any blog, its important that you have the most dynamic content possible for your niche. In this article I will show you 5 ways that you can turn your content from good to great!
Be Unique
With so many blogs online today, you need to find a way to stand out. One way to make your content truly unique is to personalize your blog. When you write a post, don’t just share common information that your visitors can find anywhere. Instead, share some information about yourself and your experiences.
Readers are interested in the person who is writing the post and not just the content itself. Your personality is what will make your blog truly unique. You have an interesting story that the world is waiting to hear. Share that insight!
Write For Humans
We all know that keywords are important. But filling your posts with keywords just so that you can get Google’s attention is a mistake. Your visitors came to your blog for valuable information and they will quickly click the “back” button on their browser if they do not find the information that they are looking for.
For example, if you have a post on the best way to cook salmon and you put the word “salmon” 20 times in the first few paragraphs, it gets a little annoying. Instead, for your reader’s sake, it’s better to use a variety of words. You could use words like Pacific salmon, fish, or seafood. Google may be interested in how many times the keywords appear in your post but your visitors aren’t.
Be Interesting
Nobody likes to read a boring blog. Good blogging is similar to any type of good writing. Using captivating and exciting descriptive language will help your readers stay interested in your writing.
There are a number of ways to add some color into your posts. You can use stories, examples or even humor as a way to keep readers engaged. Interesting content helps you capture readers and is what will keep them coming back.
Commit to Quality
One of the things that I try to do with my blog is to offer quality as well as unique content. Quality content is a rarity with many blogs. Readers will be able to tell if the post that you have written was well researched and organized. Throwing together a collection of random thoughts and ideas is easily forgettable.
Of course, if you are doing your own proofreading, grammar and spelling mistakes may happen. But overall, if you post quality content regularly, your readers will appreciate. You will also begin to develop a reputation as someone who can be counted on for delivering superior articles.
We all know that every post is not going to be a winner. There have been times when I’ve looked back at some of my first posts and thought, “What was I thinking?” The key is to be consistent in delivering valuable content.
Have a Call to Action
What do you want your visitors to do once they have read your post? Do you want them to leave a comment? Maybe you want them to subscribe to your feed? Giving good information is useful, but if you do not strike an emotion that causes an action, your readers will forget about you very quickly.
Your call to action may be something that helps the reader change a habit or it can encourage them to buy a product. In the case of my blog, I seek several different results from my articles. I not only want them to click ads and purchase products, I also want what I’ve written to affect their lives in a positive way. I love getting emails from readers saying that something I’ve written has inspired them in some way.
Whatever the desired action is, be sure to emphasize it somewhere in the beginning, middle, and conclusion of your post.
