Nice list .But be very careful with blogging.org.I am one of their top writers and haven t been paid since December. My pending dues add upto $200 .I have tried to contact them via support but they never bother to respond.Try them at your own risk.
  8. Justin Germino says:
I have hired some through HireWriters.com before, it is a pretty good site too not mentioned, it is more developed than blogging.org in that you can even tip the writers above and beyond the set rate from $1 to $3 additional dollars based on their quality, there isn't a lot of work in the system though, but there are high quality writers listed.
    • Hesham Zebida says:
Thanks for the recommendation Justin, I've added it.

  11. Vivek says:
I have personally used blogging.org. They are really the best one. I just picked up 3 to 4 writing jobs and within 3 days I got my $13 to $18/. Though this amount was nothing infront of what I earn from my blog. But I was just using them so that I could write a review on them.
    • Karla Finn says:
Hello, I was hoping you could give me some tips on monetizing my blog. I am still fairly new to this stuff, only began blogging after I was laid off from my job last year, and started it to pass the time while looking for employment. I've applied for Google AdSense, and I was approved for "content" through Triond - I've published a few articles there. I've been having a difficult time getting help with AdSense, it says my application is still under review - although it's been about 6 weeks! My blog is about some of the trials covered in the media. Although I started it for fun, I've been getting more people visiting the site over the last few weeks and really would like to fully monetize it but need some help. Any suggestions? Google Adsense has fairly strict policies on what you can and cannot use in a site or blog, so I don't want to disqualify myself by integrating other things that may conflict with AdSense. I'm frustrated! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Gabriela says:
Thank you for sharing them with us! I'll definitely give helium.com a try, maybe there's something good that can give us some profit
  13. Malcolmd says:
Hey, really useful info! I like the feel of your site in general and will definitely be crusing around discovering more of your content. Blogging.org looks like it is either brand new or fading away, but all in all, these are some pretty professional looking sites. Two questions: 1. Have you make any substantial money with any of these? 2. I run a website of my own where I pay people to join websites (mostly CPA/GPT sites) that have referral programs and then split my referral commission with the people that join 50/50. Do any of these writing sites have referral programs? Please be sure to check out my site if you have a chance and happy holidays! moneyonlinetoday.net
  14. Danielle says:
The first site that I started getting paid to write with was eHow and I loved it. I tried to write at least 2 articles each week and I made a good part-time income from that. After eHow switched to Demand Studios, I was really excited about making $15 per article. I heard that some Demand Studios writers were making $15 or more per hour writing for Demand Studios. Sadly, Demand Studios just doesn't seem to have much to offer anymore. I have also applied for About.com but was not accepted. Writing is my passion, so for now I'll stick to blogging and if I land more writing gigs in the future I will definitely take them.
  15. david says:
You need to update this site. Ehow no longer lets people write for them and they don't pay for your old articles either.
  16. Chaya Bhagavathi says:
The info given above is really helpful for the home based writers and thanks a ton satrap for posting this! regards, Chaya
  17. Shelley says:
I've been writing online content for a while, but I only for a few content mills. I really haven't been serious until lately. Thank you so much for this article. I also appreciate the commenters insights as well. I was glad to share your article with others on my site.
  18. Ana says:
This is a great way to start making money online. It's a great starter since you only need to know how to compose a text. While doing so, you can have time and money to develop further and explore other possibilities.
    • Satrap says:
Great point Ana. Yeah, its a really good way for beginners to get started in making money online while learning and developing their skills. And of course it also is great for people who are already making money since it allows them to make more money, establish themselves as an expert and also build backlinks to their sites (in some cases). Thanks for commenting Ana.
  19. Julio Ruiz says:
This are great options Starap, i´ll check some of them I think they can be useful for entrepreneurs in the spanish market who speaks english too. Thanks for sharing
    • Satrap says:
Thanks Julio. Glad you liked it. If I am not mistaking, a few of these sites also have sites in Spanish as well, but I am not sure 100%. Thanks for your comment.
  20. Satrap says:
I agree to some extend. I mean, even top quality sites, have lope holes and sometimes low quality content get through editors and are published. But, at the end of the day, I think About.com is one of the best content sites. Thanks for taking time to comment Dave.
  21. Pritam Nagrale says:
Its a great list. I have created account on 2 of the sites mentioned above but I have never written any articles. I am thinking to write the article and try to find out how much I could get paid.
    • satrap says:
Thanks for commenting Pritam. Yeah, you should definitely give them a try. Not only you can make some extra cash, you can also get a few good backlinks built for your site.
  22. Priyangshu says:
Factoidz is another great article writing site . I think that Bukisa should not be in the list , in place of that , i would recommend you to add Factoidz !
    • Satrap says:
I didn't know about Factoidz Priyangshu. Thanks for mentioning it. I wonder, why do you think Bukisa shouldn't be included in this list?.... Thanks for taking time to comment.

  23. Dev says:

    • Satrap says:
You are very welcome. Yes, writing articles is a good choice specially for newbie online money makers to start earning money online. Thanks for your comment.
  24. Ricardus says:
It's a great list that you provided to the writers out there to earn some money there.
    • Satrap says:
Thanks for the comment. Not only that, you could also get a few quality backlinks as well.
  25. Ming Jong Tey says:
Hey Satrap, I personally think freelancing is the quickest and easiest way to make quick cash as you trade your time for money. I've seen lots of people asking for the best way to generate quick cash as they lot their job, etc... The fact is affiliate marketing, blogging, dropshipping, etc...they all take time to learn, practice, and master. They are definitely for long term business perspective but if you need cash in these few days, you might want to stick to provide service you are good at or at least have the ability to do :) Cheers, Ming
    • Satrap says:
Excellent point Ming! Freelancing indeed is a quicker way to make money and the best part is that you can start right away without spending any money. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
  26. Elise says:
Nice list. :) A couple of weeks ago I got a job with About.com. It was pretty difficult, if I do say so myself and I was surprised just to get accepted into training. I was accepted into their editorial evaluation period in mid-July and had to do a lot of free work for them. I found out I got the job at the end of August. My editor was great, very supportive and we had excellent communication. My site is not live yet (working on it still with my editor) but I'm the new About.com Guide for Web Trends. I'm very excited about it. It's a topic that I am truly passionate about!
    • Hesham says:
Congratulations Elise, this is really awesome. Best of luck and success to you.
    • Jimmy says:
Congrats! :) It could be fun writing for more than just fun and seo, for a change.! :) But how much do the actually pay for an article, I mean is it 1$ or more.
    • Satrap says:
Congratulations Elise. It must be very exciting to write for one of the best content sites. I am sure it will be a great experience for you. I wish you the best.
    • Darrell Harris says:
Congratulations Elise that is very awesome that you were able to get that position, much success to you in the future let me know how it evolves.
  27. Steve says:
I find the same issues with about.com as the others. I have found good luck with assc. content and helium and Bukisa isn't bad either. Unlike many forms of online work, content writing can get you both a small passive income and at least some immediate gratification (if the site gives up front payments). Not a bad way for someone getting started to "get their feet wet" at all!
    • Satrap says:
Hey Steve, Great point you made. I agree, writing online can be both a long term strategy and a quick way to make money. Thanks for commenting.
  28. Christie Hemme says:
I do agree with Dave Lucas. I have posted several time on About.com, But no one has got approved. Others are good as you have discussed specially Helium.com.
    • Satrap says:
I myself have tried a few times and wasn't successful. It indeed is hard to get into about.com. Thanks for sharing your experience Christie.
  29. Dave Lucas says:
I don't find about.com content as good or thorough as it should be. Even though they have a very tough policy for accepting material, I think they are somewhat overrated. The others I agree with you on: they are all great! blog On!
    • Satrap says:
I agree to some extend. I mean, even top quality sites, have lope holes and sometimes low quality content get through editors and are published. But, at the end of the day, I think About.com is one of the best content sites. Thanks for taking time to comment Dave.
