Blog Post Promotion

Good news everybody! Kristi Hines is launching her first ebook, “the Ultimate Guide to Blog Post Promotion.” It’s ready now and you can buy it today and get 20% off it’s prize. The reason why I think this is great news is because we are launching the Traffic Generation blogging contest on the first of March, so now you  can get a huge benefit by putting your hand on Kristi’s Blog Post Promotion ebook. I am 100% sure this ebook will help you to plan and win our contest, which has almost $4000 of real cash prizes right now!

Kristi showed us all excellent promotion tips and Traffic Generation techniques during our blogging comments contest, and I was really amazed by the results, so for those who are planning to participate in the Traffic Generation contest, check Kristi’s article promotion post and see the massive response she had on that post. It’s a good start for you to learn how to really promote your article or blog post and drive more traffic to it!

Kristi is sharing it all in “the Ultimate Guide to Blog Post Promotion!”

The really good thing I see here is that Kristi wasn’t planning to participate in the Traffic Generation contest, being busy with her new ebook. She became a sponsor this time.

I just want to remind you for the contest, check the Traffic Generation blogging contest information post, as we are updating this post almost everyday and sometimes twice a day.

  2. james says:
Many thanks for the replies. I have read everything and will contact you as soon as i have something really worth sharing. Thanks once again.James
  3. James says:
I already blog at the address that is coming in the URL. Are there any conditions that a blog has to have a certain amount of traffic or alexa or something like that only then the blogger can write a guest post for you? Thanks
    • Hesham says:
James, signup for your account then contact me via the contact page! I don't discuss this in the comments especially it's off topic! Thanks!
  4. James says:
Thank you, just checking the theme's website and i am a content writer by profession and interested in writing guest posts. Obviously with a link or two in the body. Do you have any such possibility at this blog and what are the requirements because all i can offer is honest content (good or bad you can only decide). Can i get any hint on the criteria.ThanksJames
    • Hesham says:
James, our blog is based on guest blogging, you can read all information on the guest post page! But this service is for bloggers only, not content writers! Sorry!
  5. James says:
By limitations i meant that most of the free wordpress themes aren't aesthetically that appealing. They really lack lusture and i hardly find them appealing. On the other hand, the paid ones (not because they are paid) are well above average when it comes to aesthetic appeal. Secondly, i also find it hard to edit them because they are not granular in their making. I have tried many so called free themes and every time i have been disappointed. Any ways, thank you so much for being so humble that you took the time to reply back to me :)James
    • Hesham says:
mm.. probably this means you should go for a paid theme then where you can find amazing features and get good support, I suggest ElegantThemes , you will be impressed by quality and affordable price, they have more than 50 themes now for only $39!
  6. James says:
Being a beginner web designer and blogger i wanted to ask you from where i can get free wordpress themes because every free theme has a limitation in it.
    • Hesham says:
Hi James, It's easy to find free WordPress themes, although I don't really understand what you mean by limitations, anyways the you can just search for it and test it!
  7. Fabrizio says:
Many congratulations and hope for the best, eBook's are one of the most valuable tools a blogger can use to promote or to learn from.
    • Kristi says:
Fully agreed! I have a stash of eBooks in my online library as well! :)
  8. namita says:
Wish a good luck.. Keep writing so it may help us.
  9. TJ McDowell says:
I saw the post on Kristi's blog earlier this week about her new e-book. Hopefully it will do really well for her. Then she'll have even more to share with us - this time about e-book marketing =)
    • Kristi says:
I'm certainly not experienced enough to write about product launches yet... maybe after my next one I will have some of the finer details down better. :)
  10. Gustavo says:
I have to agree with John Morrow somewhat. I just agree on the part that I think for me personally it will not be worth it to spend $27 on something that I'm almost sure I already know about (the hard part for me is implementing it). But to every person it will be worth differently. I may learn one or a few new things that I didn't know at think it wasn't worth what I paid. But to other persons it may be worth more than what they paid because they learned something completely new.
    • Kristi says:
Good point Gustavo! I haven't had much issue with eBooks, but I have gone to events where the content was a little more beginner level than I would have preferred (although I take those opportunities to remember the basics and foundations of things, which can be helpful too). But if I stood back and looked at those sessions from a beginners point of view, the event would be a goldmine of information.
  11. John Morrow says:
I'll be honest with you - I went to have a look at the link and while I mean no disrespect, $27 for an ebook about promoting your blog posts is absurd. Good luck with that.
    • Hesham says:
Hi John, I don't see a problem with the price because I know how hard it's to write a guide like this and put all your experiences in it! So it's really up to the authors to value their work, and from the other side, it's up to the buyer to decide! But what I am sure of is you don't really have to judge a book from it's cover! Anyways, I think you will change your mind after a few years of blogging! (just a personal opinion)
      • John Morrow says:
Hey Hesham, Well, authors can of course decide what they think their work is worth. My point is simply that I read a lot of ebooks - I have have well over 150 on my Kindle, on all kinds of topics including blogging and technology. $27 is more than double than the most I've ever paid for an ebook. Even best sellers, written by acknowledged experts in their field. Including blogging. And I'm pretty sure I could blog for a couple of years and still find that to be pretty outrageously expensive.
        • Hesham says:
I got your point John! and I agree completely with you that best sales books are much cheaper than that, even with hard copies most of the times! So, let's see how thing will work out as this eBook is actually released for a particular use! and by the way, I lived the moment of this book day by day for 30 days and I watched the success with my own eyes (this explains why I care less for it's price) , and this is the reason why I am recommending it for my blog readers and friends, especially that we are running a huge blogging contest this month and this ebook has great tips that will help for winning $1000 cash prize if someone was lucky enough to buy it and do what's inside the book! So.. let's say, it's time matter, require and demand! Thanks again for your opinion John, much appreciated!
    • Kristi says:
Hi John, Just reading through your comments. I did have a struggle with the pricing, so I took a look around at other ebooks with a similar amount of in-depth content, and I felt this was the right price for mine. I kind of look at the value as what you will be able to get out of it if you apply everything you read. Since I used all of these techniques to win several blogging contests and get paid freelance writing opportunities, the way I see it is a $27 investment that could lead to earning thousands of dollars, which is well worth it. If I were writing a book that was going to be on a Kindle only, I probably would bump the price down a good bit because you lose the color graphics and ability to click on the resource links on the spot while reading which (in my mind) reduces the "experience" of the eBook. Also, I have spent everywhere from $20 to $100 on simply eBooks, and so far I have found that they have been worth every penny, assuming you don't just read it but really apply it! Anyway, those were all things I considered while working on pricing. I respect that some people may or may not agree with it, but for the time I spent on it and the value I provide in it, I am confident that I made the right choice.
      • AstroGremlin says:
Price point is a major decision in pricing anything. But when it's a book, there seems to be a temptation to lowball the price and hope it goes viral. The investment should pay off, and the publisher should assume the reader will apply the lessons learned. When a reader pays a substantial price for a book, they are going to read it, use it, remember it, tell their friends about it. Stick to your valuation based on the product being "used as intended."
  12. Sandeep says:
Thanks Hesham, Will check the book out... i think i really need this one
    • Hesham says:
Hi Sandeep , I highly recommend this ebook as a good source for bloggers!
  13. Fran Aslam From Onlinewriter says:
Hi Hesham Since you are promoting Kristi's book, it has to be good, no doubt. As she is saying it is about promoting single blog posts. It sounds like a great book for every blogger. Fran A
    • Hesham says:
Thanks for the trust, I really appreciate it!
  14. Lennart Heleander says:
Hi Hesham, I never buy an eBooks or download a free eBooks over internet, often do you not get any new information at all, and only a lot of bl.a, bl.a. But in this case is it little different, Kristi H is a da** good on blogging, so I must maybe re-thinking myself and say never is not always never. I looking forward to read her eBook.
    • Hesham says:
Hi Lannart, Talking about eBooks, I have bought many, I some times even buy them just to see how they are written, not necessarily to read the full ebook! I agree with you, most of the ebooks has information we already know about it, but for me in most cases it's enough to find one cool new tip or advice in each ebook which makes it valuable to me and worth it! Plus, it's not bad thing to encouraging people around us and even buy their ebooks or products as a reward for all their hard work and other free stuff we have leaned from them along the way! So, I hope you make up your mind, and I am sure you will get benefit from this one!
  15. Dana says:
The book seems great since Kristi has a good reputation about blogging tips. :)

  17. Fisayo Sanyaolu says:

    • Hesham says:

  18. Alston J. Balkcom says:

    • Kristi says:
Glad to hear it Faissal! :)
      • Faissal Alhaithami says:
Just bought it..! I can just say " AWESOME " it'll help me tons for the moment as a contestant, and for me as blogger.
  20. Henway says:
I dunno... all you bloggers seem to reiterate the same strategies on blog promotion over and over. Most of the time you can't really learn how to have a successful blog. It mostly has to do with what niche you're covering and whether you can write compelling content or not.
    • Hesham says:
We are trying our best, thanks!
    • Kristi says:
Hi Henway, This eBook is actually about promoting a single blog post - not promoting the entire blog as a whole. It's first focus is great content, and then how to get that content the most exposure possible, not by simply self-promoting, but by building relationships with bloggers in your niche in order to do mutually beneficial sharing and promotion. But yes, the first part is about how you must have great content to succeed in having a successful post promotion!
  21. Darren Scott Monroe says:
YAYYY Kristi rocks! And it is a GREAT BOOK!
    • Kristi says:
Thanks Darren! You've been a great help in me getting my launch items in order too! :)
