Google Plus Tutorials

The Best Google Plus Tutorials

If you have been watching the growth of Google Plus social network in the last a few days, then probably you are feel the craziness of Google Plus. I personally haven’t seen a network spread among people this fast  before, and it’s not weird that people started already to shout many tutorials like how to use Google Plus network, how to invite people to join Google+ and stuff like that.

Google Plus Tutorials

I’ve published a few days back about the network, and I asked my friends to share what they think about Google Plus network and I’ve got some amazing feedback. Today I thought to take a tour on Google search and try to find useful Google plus tutorials to share with you.

Inviting people to join Google Plus social network

How to invite friends join Google plus

The most crazy one I found was about inviting people to join Google Plus social network, as Google stated in the help articles that:

Google+ is in limited Field Trial. During this time, when you share something with people who aren’t yet able to use Google+, they’ll receive it via email but won’t be able to comment or engage with the content like other Google+ users. They’ll be able to join Google+ as we let more users in over time.

Many bloggers and social media geeks started to offer Google plus invitations, and they published some nice and useful Google Plus tutorials.

The big issue is how Google + is trying to be more attractive to the business community rather than just another ‘facebook’.
The way this is being integrated into SERPs is making us all pay attention.

Thanks. I guess I should take this post, copy it to inkpad, so I can repeat it. I’m a nube to google plus, but I’m an expert win/hpux/redhat admin. I need a tutorial on google plus to know exactly how circles interact with gmail, etc. example, I added “android” to “following” and then 50 people show up in circles. How/ why does that happen?

  • Ned Carey July 4, 2011, 7:14 pm

Well I just read abut the +1 button and Leo’s post about how it might be used by Google. Well I guess the Google+ Project answers that. Hey I didn’t even know Google had this social network until I read it here.

    • Hesham July 5, 2011, 12:51 pm

Hey Ned, the most interesting thing to me was the way Google push it to us, I just realized that we were already part of a network that we don’t know it exists, really smart!

      • Ned Carey July 6, 2011, 10:37 pm

Exactly, I am surprised they didn’t let the +1 button network grow more before announcing the entire project. Perhaps it was a test of the system.

Despite the fact that I already had set up a profile for +1, I haven’t received an invitation supposedly sent early yesterday.

        • Hesham July 10, 2011, 3:51 pm

I think Google work regarding a plan, and they keep everything secret! They always seems to be cool while doing things! Of course if I have a huge community like them I will do the same 🙂

Not sure you are in G+ or not yet, but if you haven’t let me know by contacting me via the contact page with your gmail, I will invite you!

          Have a great weekend!

  • DiTesco July 4, 2011, 12:14 pm

And a big bang! Absolutely awesome Hesham. Really find this post extremely useful, not to mention very timely. I already like G+, and although this is the case, I agree with you, why the h*** would I want it to look like FB, lol. Thumbs up buddy!

    • Hesham July 5, 2011, 12:48 pm

Same here buddy, I find The Google plus really interesting! LOL yea it doesn’t make any sense 🙂

  • Andreas July 4, 2011, 11:36 am

With the google plus one button, google is able to generate a new ranking picture that is based on social recommendations and not on on page and off page factors such as links and they are not dependent on external social networking metrics of facebook and twitter so much. It was more or less the missing piece for them.

    • Hesham July 4, 2011, 2:48 pm

That’s true Andreas, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying the new Google Plus network!

  • Mathilde July 4, 2011, 7:16 am

Like Bjorn says, I’m not going to jump in something so new without really knowing more about it. Plus, I think Google already knows a great deal about me with my researches, so I don’t feel like being even more spied on!

    • Hesham July 4, 2011, 7:24 am

Thanks for adding your opinion, this is why I share those tutorials so all our blog readers can learn more about Google Plus network.

      Good luck!

  • dandellion Kimban July 4, 2011, 6:14 am

Nice collection. As with mos Google’s services, there is so much under the surface.

    • Hesham July 4, 2011, 7:25 am

I hope we can get the best of it!

Nice post in your link, thanks for sharing!

  • Bjorn July 4, 2011, 4:11 am

In a way I don’t like the idea to jump into jet another social communety… But Google have hinted the +1 can affect rankings, so it might be smart to work on this network… It was a great and usefully post. I will Digg into the Google communety when I have som time on my hand..

    • Hesham July 4, 2011, 4:14 am

Same here, but you know Bjorn jumping into Google’s social network is not really jumping 🙂

We are in the network since long time back, but we maybe haven’t notice that till they “Google” told us!

  • Marya July 4, 2011, 3:28 am

Hi Hesham. As I am always the last one to arrive on the scene, be it facebook or twitter, this just might be my chance to actually make an entrance while the place is still hot. Thanks for the info. 🙂

    • Hesham July 4, 2011, 4:00 am

You are not alone in this Marya, I have been late in joining Facebook and Twitter to 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you good luck with the new Plus!
