What’s Up Bloggers! Roundup #6 with Uttoran Sen

July 23, 2016 - Last Modified: October 12, 2016 by Deborah Anderson

Continuing our series from what was started here: What’s Up Bloggers! Friday Roundup #1, we will be featuring Blogger Uttoran Sen today. Please also see the previous features:

  • What’s Up Bloggers! Roundup #5 with Roxana Nasoi
  • What’s Up Bloggers! Roundup #4 with Gail Gardner
  • What’s Up Bloggers! Roundup #3 with David Leonhardt
  • What’s Up Bloggers! Roundup #2 with Ileane Smith

As a reminder, the purpose of this series is to “introduce bloggers to more of their peers in the blogosphere and likely offer new opportunities to make friends, build collaborations, and get more traffic for your own blog.” Famous Bloggers Roundup #6 continues that “What’s Up, Bloggers!” series by introducing you to Uttoran Sen.

Suggested Tool for Bloggers

This week, the blogger tool recommendation comes from our featured blogger, Uttoran Sen, whom you will meet in just a moment. Here is his suggestion, in his own words:

“Uber Suggest is one of my favorite tools: It is a keyword research tool that imports keyword suggestions based on Google instant search. I have built several successful micro niche blogs with the help of this tool. All you need to do is put a keyword idea in the search box and let it search for you. Uber Suggest will pull the data from Google and present you with a bigger list of long tail keywords around that topic.

Uttoran Sen

This is how Uttoran describes himself, in his own words, “Hey, am Uttoran Sen. I am a full-time blogger at GuestCrew and a social media expert. I started blogging way back in 2005, mostly focused on Adsense and organic search traffic, until 2009. I was able to get funding twice for two of my startups and currently I am focused solely on GuestCrew.”

Some of Uttoran’s Accomplishments

Uttoran explains it this way, “Around late 2007, I had built a small network of niche blogs and earned over $20k+ from Adsense alone. The network used to receive 100k+ of organic traffic every month. In 2009 and 2011, I was funded for two of my startups. One of them is Guest Crew, which is still under development at this moment.”

Uttoran’s Future aspirations

As far as aspirations, Uttoran says, “The current project that I am working on is Guest Crew. When we started out with Guest Crew, guest blogging was the primary focus of the network and social media and crowd speaking was in what we call a private beta. Now we have removed all of the guest blogging aspects and have made the influencer marketing and crowd speaking as the main part of our website.

Guest Crew Crowd Speaking is a social media feature that buffers social shares across all major social platforms like facebook, twitter etc. and releases them all at once. The shares are released on the due date of the campaign. In that ways, it creates a huge buzz on the social media, all at once.”
