The Human Media Movement

The Human Media movement refers to a shift in user interaction on social media from text based engagement to face to face contact via webcam. This new layer of social media reduces the physical space between users and essentially provides the opportunity for anyone to virtually travel across the entire world in a matter of seconds.

Human Media differentiates from traditional asynchronous social media interactions through real-time webcam interactivity that leads to raw conversation and the ability to gauge actions and body movements for a deeper understanding of opinions and feelings.
