Search, plus Your World … I Knew This Day Will Come!

January 11, 2012 - Last Modified: January 11, 2012 by Hesham Zebida

Search, plus Your World

It’s time to find personal results on Google search! Google announced the new  “Search, plus Your World” featured that integrates to its search results.

You will only see these results if you are signed in to your Google+ account. I thinks it’s super cool, and I am sure that many people are going to simply love it and appreciate it.

I mean what’s better than results from people you know and follow?

I think that…

Search now is better? (do you like it?)

that would be certainly very helpful..:) google is mixing up everything now-a-days.. search results, blogs, friends.. all into google+..
  4. Abhi Balani says:
Yeah, it'd be really helpful. I am on with my Google account every time. I know it will improve search results for me.

I'm still getting used to it (not necessarily a bad thing). If your Google + circles are not as robust as you would like them to be (I have a few where I wish I had more connections that I do), then it can feel limiting. But yes, I do like the feeling of being able to carve out your own relevant niche on the internet.
  6. Melinda says:
I love it. I have already found some helpful articles when search some html/css stuff that my friends had +1ed so they showed up at the top of the results. Very helpful.

I think everyone loves personal recommendations, especially from people he knows and trust! But maybe it's useful to compare results while logged in and out, to see what the differences in results might be! Oh! I think I should recommend more design stuff, or let's say more good design stuff :) Thanks Melinda for your input!
  7. Shamelle says:
I guess we'd all be surprised if there wasn't something like this planned by Google! Really cool video.. Loved the animation effect.
    • Hesham Zebida says:
Yeah, I wonder what took them so long :)
  8. Tushar says:
That is surely a superb innovation. I am logged into my Google + account whole day and will try this soon
    • Hesham Zebida says:
Google says results may not show on every account yet, so I hope it works for you!
