   Cool infographic - I like it. It's still beyond me how Microsoft expects to make eough money on Skype to justify the $8.5 billion they put into it. Ebay paid less than a third of that, and they obviously weren't turning a profit.

   Great InfoGraphic. I love inforgraphics, because in a single lengthy image you will get lot of informations that a text article fails to inform reader. Thanks for sharing.

     I agree with Navin. Infographics may be hard to do and it sure takes some time to finish it, but I really appreciate the outcomes. It not only gives us valuable information, but also it lets us enjoy reading it through the drawings and photos - I feel like a little girl again who's reading a story book. Fun times! :) I'm surprised that Skype beat Facebook when it comes to total number of subscribers. Glad to know that. Thanks for sharing!

   Skype's data is surprisingly higher than what I assumed. But i didn't personally like Microsoft's Skype acquisition. Hope Skype remains the same as it is now.

   Wow this is really interesting! I didn't know that skype was so old so to speak! Its funny how not getting the original name you want and then the name you actually get being the good one!

   The time I used skype first time, I fell in love with this software. Amazing clarity. Much better then any messenger. Today I learnt many things about this. Thanks a lot for sharing this.

   Some story Skype has Hesham. And to think that the previous owners sold it to ebay which in turn bought them back is amaxing. They must really be very happy with the 8.5 B deal :)

    Nice story about Skype. yeah, skype is in news again for having been acquired by Microsoft although MS seems to have over paid for the skype which has been struggling to make profits (skype's losses were close to 7M USD for the previous financial year).

    boy...that's web based business owners dream come true. I love the cartoony time line. So, Skype is Microsoft now...crazy. Don't know if I want them to make anymore money. Though i love Microsoft technology.

    Although I always use yahoo messenger, I just recently used Skype and I definitely like it. It is nice to know the history, developments and how Skype continue to evolve. I agree that it is one way of a good communication and helpful business tool. I hope that microsoft will be able to find out how to make serious profits from Skype.

    Great post, Skype can be great for internet marketing too. I think Skype is taken over by Microsoft for $8 billions. Keep it up.

    Skype is one of the best online source to contact and communicate with people in foreign countries in cheaper rates and I am using it from last 4 years. Designer did a nice work to create this useful and informative graphic plus thanks to you for sharing it with us.

    I had no idea there were more users than Facebook! Wow! I love Skype for talking to my family that is far away. I hope they don't change anything about it.
