Why you see Google AdSense on FamousBloggers Blog

January 31, 2010 - Last Modified: January 31, 2010 by Hesham Zebida

why google adsense

Some of you will think why this guy (me) is saying that Google AdSense is not the ideal way to earn money and they are running AdSense on FamousBloggers blog? so I wrote this post to tell you we are not having any blogging conflict, but we used to read on Google AdSense blog and we have a simple reason to run AdSense on our blog.

My answer to this is mainly we like to run lots of tests practice on our blog, and this is part of our money online tips. So many bloggers will agree that blogs are like babies, and FamousBloggers blog is still a baby, and we want to feed it the right way, so usually when you have a baby you try to feed him, and depending on what he like and what he dislike you will know his favorite kind of food.

In our case, FamousBloggers blog is the baby and blog advertising is the food, so we are testing blog performance with AdSense, and it’s not to earn from it because we don’t expect  any high earning from AdSense, it’s much more for lesson plans, as we think it’s still not the right time for us to earn good money, and actually we don’t receive any earnings from Google AdSense since we launched this blog 3 months ago! we are NOT experiencing a huge drop in AdSense earnings, and to be honest we got a click or two 😉 I really don’t remember and I will not even bother to check as Google AdSense is not our main target of advertisements services, Maybe you can understand that because the blog still new and organic search has just started to bring visitors, but what I am sure of is that our readers and visitors are a ware of Google AdSense and they don’t like it that much! em I Right?

Hoping someone to clicks on adsense at blogging tips blog is impossible bro, this blog is where bloggers come to read tips but they are bloggers who's already too familiar with adsense. If they clicked adsense here, its just a gift :) from the visitors .-= Latief@AnotherBlogger´s last blog ..Win Some Amazing Prizes in the Blazing Minds Competition =-.

Interesting you make the comment about bloggers not clicking ads. I've been wondering how much of a bubble a lot of bloggers are writing in. A lot of the blogging communities are the same group of bloggers, and when their primary sites are about blogging its the same thing different tune. Not picking on anyone just thinking out loud. Do most bloggers get big traffic/clicks on their blogging site or their niche site?
  2. Michael Aulia says:
Well it's harder for a tech blog like mine to get clicks but it's even harder for a blog like this to get any clicks! (bloggers don't click on AdSense ads - a pity/irony really) I guess you're far off better with wordpress themes affiliates or private advertising on blogs like this :D .-= Michael Aulia´s last blog ..WD TV Live Review =-.
    • Hesham says:
Tech.. tech.. tech.. but why it's hard for a tech blog? I know that tech blogs gets high paid ads! I am not so lucky with Affiliates mmmm maybe I will use some invisible advertisements that my reader doesn't have to see or click LOL!
      • Michael Aulia says:
I wouldn't call 2-3 cents a click a high pay ad :D Well some are better but it's all because the audience know it's an ad and not to click on it It's all different with my mom looking at those ads, getting confused, and start clicking in frenzy lol .-= Michael Aulia´s last blog ..WD TV Live Review =-.

I think we will all agree with this that we need to find more creative ways to monetize our blogs as google had adsense is not what it used to be people are staying away from them so as not to get a site banned or disqualified .-= lawmacs´s last blog ..5 Link Building Tips =-.
    • Hesham says:
This is what I am doing now Lawmacs, I am trying to discover something that works for our blogs, but until this time comes, we should not forget to concentrate on increasing the traffic!

I think it is great you have adsense here, I wrote about adsense not working for me specifically but that is just my sites. It is up to every site owner to figure out the best way to monetize (and if you aren't monetizing, then it is just a hobby and is costing you time and money, I can think of better ways to do that LOL). The thing I found with adsense, is it takes good search traffic to earn a significant income. I still earn from adsense on my sites, but not as much as I do from other sources (my products and services). That being said, I cover my expenses and then some on just adsense for my sites. The best part about your article is that you state you are testing, and without that, how can you know if you are missing out.... .-= Keith Bloemendaal´s last blog ..One Man Can Do Everything =-.
    • Hesham says:
LOL! I have moved the ads all around, and displayed it on each corner but with no use yet! I am registered with some payper post services who sometimes send me high paid tasks compared with my other blogs tasks.but I don't want to kill this blog! so let's give it some more time ;)
      • Keith Bloemendaal says:
What are you saying Hesham? Have patience? NOT BLOGGERS! LOL .-= Keith Bloemendaal´s last blog ..One Man Can Do Everything =-.

The similar experiences are with me too. I'm running two sites - PS Exam and ICT Trends. The first one is a website that offers exam preparation materials and the second one is a blog about blogging itself. What I have concluded is that, when visitors do come searching something concreate, they are most likely click on Ads. As in PS Exam they come for downloads of class notes, MCQs and if they do not find exactly what they were looking will try alternatives and if any phrase in Ads matched what they were searching, they are most likely clicking those Ads. In case of blogs, people come to read and get amused (please correct me if I am wrong). They walk through posts to posts, drop some comments and look for another good post. I doubt if they have any definite quest. Moreover, people following blogs are more skilled and can identify the contents and Ads. Thus there is very little chances of clicks except accidental. Might be on tons of search engine organic visitors, it will be possible. Let's hope. I'll be closely following your findings of the experiments and Best of Luck! .-= Suresh Khanal´s last blog ..What Goes Around Comes Around =-.

Thank you a lot Suresh Khanal for your time and sharing your experience with us, and I agree with you on those point! I am keeping discovering some stuff here, and I will be sharing with all.
