Boost Your Business with Search Engine Optimisation

August 20, 2010 - Last Modified: September 15, 2010 by John Britsios

Search Engine Optimisation

In order to remain competitive, modern businesses must continuously adapt to changes in technology. The world wide web has revolutionized the way consumers find out about new products and services. Smart phones and laptops can be used to engage in commerce over wireless networks.

The brick-and-mortar storefront is no longer the only viable form of infrastructure that businesses can use to interact with their customers. When one considers how the internet has changed the business world, it is terribly important for today’s entrepreneurs to enlist the help of a search engine optimisation consultant.

In a basic sense, search engine optimisation allows businesses to connect with consumers that are searching for information about specific keywords. Millions of people trust services like Google and Bing to provide information about a wide variety of topics.

With the right search engine optimisation campaign, your business can position itself as the leading provider of services that relate to popular keywords.

Solving Consumers’ Problems with Search Engine Optimisation

Before the emergence of e-commerce, companies could only market themselves according to broad industrial categories. For specialized companies, it was difficult to reach relevant consumers. The internet has improved the relationship between the entrepreneur and the end-user. People often turn to search engines to find solutions to problems.

In some cases, those individuals discover a new product that makes life easier. If your company takes advantage of search engine optimisation consulting, immense profits will be realized as consumers find out about your brand while searching for information about a relevant keyword.

Efficient Search Engine Optimisation Consulting Is the Key

Efficient Search Engine Optimisation Consulting Is the Key to a Successful Marketing Campaign

Some keywords attract more attention than others. Furthermore, specific techniques can improve the relevance of incoming traffic. For these reasons, it is important to work with a search engine optimisation consultant with a proven track record.

Today’s economic climate rewards those businesses that provide the highest quality of service at the lowest possible price to the end-user. With an efficient search engine optimisation campaign, you can increase your web traffic in a way that provides an excellent return on your marketing investment.

SEO empowers the consume

SEO (Search engine optimisation) empowers the consumer to find out about boutique products and services that solve immediate problems or relate to specific interests. Furthermore, these techniques improve the efficiency of entrepreneurs’ marketing efforts.

If you are looking for a way to boost revenues while expanding the average person’s awareness of your brand, it would be wise to establish a relationship with a search engine optimisation consultant.

For the ones who did not like my post, I just published elsewhere an excellent list of tips for on-page search engine optimization: http://www.searchenginejournal.com/6-ultimate-on-page-search-engine%C2%A0optimization%C2%A0tips/23546/

hello there Webnauts...I have been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out what Google wants. Every time i get close to ranking where i want then there is some change or update that occurs and i loose all the work and money that i have spent.
    • Webnauts says:
That is what SEO is about. It is an ongoing process. If you spend your money with self-proclaimed SEO, you can not expect long living success.
      • Thina Doukas says:
I agree also. Google made the May day updates and our site moved like a yo-yo. We have utilised the webmasters forums to keep up to date with the latest and also utilising the free advice given by support. SEO is an ongoing process which has forced us to learn and implement a campaign on our own steadily. Success with marketing is understanding SEO and implementing different techniques on your own if you cant afford an expert.

Thanks John.. It is very easy to convince somebody in person about the benefits of local SEO. It can go a long way towards how they will succeed and can really set them far ahead of their competitors if they do it right and include social media as well. Great tips, and great first post. Keep it up :)
  4. Andreas says:
One other bonus from search engine optimization is that you also analyse and get to know your target audience in detail so that you can create more targeted marketing campaigns.

wpexplorer, the post is posted for people that are not aware about search engine optimization or not about the necessity of using it. It is not an article about how to do search engine optimization. Something like that would have been a tutorial which I am going to post soon.
  6. AJ says:
This is a weak post. I would have expected a lot more from an SEO company. You provide no solid tactics to actually boost your business. This post seems more like a marketing/back-link strategy for your company - not much real value here.
    • Léo says:
Unfortunately I would tend to agree with you Aj. Sounds more like a press release than a guest blog article. Exactly what one shouldn't do IMHO.

Thanks you all for taking the time review and add a comment. Maybe you could do me a favor and give me a review here too http://www.scribnia.com/user/profile/Webnauts/

I have always seen SEO as some weird alien language but slowly but surely I'm starting to get my head around it. :)
  9. Dennis Edell says:
I had all but given up on it completely; the mechanics of keyword research is never gonna get through properly...I decided to outsource it. :)

I just realized I did a typo in my comment. It should go as "According to me good quality content and effective Search Engine Marketing go hand in hand. You need good marketing skills to drive visitors to your website and enhance your website growth. Likewise Quality content will add value to the visitors of your website.
  14. abhishek says:
Well in today's world SEO is the key phrase of everything. Now its no longer the need that you can just have a website and you are done. Now unless you are doing SEO there is nothing much you can do. And it's not only that you do SEO for one time and you are done. You have to keep updating your contents as well as backlinks to remain or reach the number one in search engines. According to a estimate 40-50% of search engine traffic goes to the number 1 position.
  15. Brenda Griffin says:
I finally go it the other day, SEO. I was feeling cranky that I couldn't just write catchy headlines and that I had to write around all these key words..... And then I got it. If I want to be of service to my clients, I need to write about what they care about, what they need, what they want to learn about...what they are searching for....in google. My attitude has totally changed. I now look forward to writing around my list.....of things that my clients need and want to know. And now for some linking! Thanks for the post and the reminder of SEO importance to business
  16. Steve says:
You can never undervalue SEO. You could literally be writing pure gold and have the best stuff out there. If you do not use SEO and no one can find you it may as well be worthless.
  17. Murlu says:
Business owners must understand two things: - Their time is their most valuable asset - They should always be marketing their website So how does SEO fit in? Well, because time is so important for a business owner it shouldn't be used to do small tasks like link-building because its best served in making large financial decisions, delegating the business and networking with other business owners. This means that it's most often best for small businesses to find an SEO consultant to help build their online rankings and overall marketing. Suppose you're the boss, you make $1000 an hour - is your time best served writing an article or would it be better just to hire someone to write them? Of course the later - if it took you 1 hour to write an article, that article just cost you $1000! Same idea behind hiring out a SEO consultant. Wrap your head around that :P
  18. Robert says:
SEO is essential no matter what kind of blog or site you own. If you want to get visitors on your site, get traffic and make money, you have to promote your site and one of the best ways is through appearing in search engines, which SEO is essential for

What that be "optimisation" or "optimization" at the title of the post :D To me, no doubt about the necessary (a must-have) of SEO in blogging business :)
  20. Nasif says:
Google is simply evil ! We are doing lots of SEO but we have no way to understand whether Google is giving value to our site or not... Sometimes SEO can be a waste of time. Everything depends of luck nowadays :( I have done lots of SEO for my site but the result is negative and its bringing me lots of stress.
  21. chandan says:
SEO is also a brand building strategy like social media optimization. We can get most of targeted customer by search engine, which can not be get by social media.
  22. Colleen says:
Very good John. I just visited your site and you have a nice one.
    • Colleen says:
Funny thing is that many bloggers miss the SEO opportunity to generate traffic to their blog. I know replying to my own comment is a pho-pah, but I'm just saying. ;)
  23. Lennart Heleander says:
Hi Webnauts, (cool name) Yoa are so right. Without SEO is you blog or website nothing, you don’t have a chance today on the SERP. But you must not us a search optimization consult; you can in a couple of weeks learn the most important thing by read here on Famousbloggers and other similarly blogs if you have time.
  24. Ileane says:
Hi John, You touch on some key points here about SEO. It's a shame that Google and the likes have established their own rules for how people can find what they need online. You could be looking for a product or service that is right outside your door but you might miss it if you search the web and the business is not ranked properly. Best to get advice from someone who knows what they are doing. Thanks.
