Many people like infographics because it simplify information and data, that’s a big reason why we share infographics here on FamousBloggers.net from time to time in our special infographics category. SodaHeads has presented some of the most popular infographics of 2011 to vote on the best one.

Only one infographic could come out on top;  SodaHead community selected Infographic World‘s “Farewell to a Genius: The Life and Times of Steve Jobs” to be the most popular infographic for 2011.

    Nice one. Infographs are the way to go if you want to start to engage visually with your audience. I am not surprised that Steve Jobs is the top infograph of last year. He has done an amazing work with the Apple company, even though I don't use any of their products :)

    I love infographics, I think they're one of the handiest things going, especially if they're well designed like this one. I think infographics are under used in terms of statistics and market research presentations as well, it would make life much easier for everyone instead of using powerpoint presentations all the time

    Hi Hesham, Super thorough and as you note Hesham, the information in these graphics is presented in a simple and easy to digest manner. Images draw in the attention like few other forms of content. This is why I am moving back toward big pictures on my blogs. We live through the senses, and images - especially those packed with valuable info - are eye candy that draw us in. Which of course, lowers your bounce rate and improves your search engine rank in the process. Thanks for sharing Hesham. RB
