Introducing Erica Gordon

Erica Gordon is a writer, blogger, entrepreneur and dating expert from Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). After earning her Psychology degree from UBC (University of British Columbia), she went on to work for some of the world’s largest dating sites and began writing dating advice for a living. She ultimately decided to start TheBabeReport.com which is a free advice column for millennials.

Today, Erica’s blog maintains an upbeat focus on travel, lifestyle, dating, relationships, entrepreneurship, and general well-being. She’s been featured in publications such as Elite Daily, AskMen, Huffington Post, Thought Catalog, BuzzFeed and Vanity Fair.

Some of Erica’s favorite things to do when she’s not writing include hiking in the great Canadian wilderness, watching Will Ferrell movies, hitting up a local comedy show, trying a new red wine, and planning her next travel blogging trip. Erica was quoted in Vanity Fair in a viral cover story entitled “Tinder and the Dawn of the ‘Dating Apocalypse'” in 2015, and she’s since been quoted in several other publications including Huffington Post, BuzzFeed and Elite Daily.

Erica wrote the viral article “How Accepting The Hookup Culture Is Getting 20-Somethings Nowhere” which went viral and earned over 250,000 Facebook shares and over 2 million views overnight. It was one of Elite Daily’s top-performing articles of 2014.

Through her blog, Erica has landed partnerships with some of the world’s best fitness studios, luxury hotels, and vacations including an all-expenses paid trip to Croatia in 2015.

Erica’s Aspirations (and some Inspiration!)

Erica aspires to continue travel blogging all over the world. By partnering with hotels, travel agencies and tour companies, she’s able to combine her love of travel with her passion for writing. Erica has found that writing about a vacation destination based on experience has created some of the most impassioned and insightful writing she’s ever produced.

Erica also aspires to be a guest on a talk show soon, as a dating expert.

Erica is currently about to start a fitness journey with her new partner, Steve Nash Fitness, where she will blog her weight loss journey in 2017. (Erica – will you be sharing how you are doing it? We’d love to hear it 🙂 )

Erica says that she has found incredible success without the use of specific tools or services. She says she simply pitches magazines and publications for whom she wants to write. Erica pitches hotels and travel agencies that she wants to work with, as well..
