As you know, the purpose of this series is to “introduce bloggers to their peers in the blogosphere and offer new opportunities to make friends, build collaborations, and get more traffic for your own blog.” Famous Bloggers Roundup #10 continues that “What’s Up, Bloggers!” series by featuring Ms. Stacie Walker.

Introducing Stacie Walker

Stacie is a major sci-fi and fantasy geek with a mild obsession with comic books. Her family moved to Colorado (from Texas) in the Fall of 2016. She says that Colorado is the perfect place to design her family’s life around what they really love in life – camping, fishing, hiking, and a new found love for cycling.

The birth of her second son, in 2015, inspired her to create “The Ambitious Moms Summit.” She had to learn how to be a mother of a small child again while running a successful online business. Her youngest son was the inspiration behind the revamping of her entire business.

As a Business Strategist, she currently helps women put themselves first, so they can design a beautiful life doing what they love. She says that she is so grateful to be able to work from virtually anywhere in the world. She wakes up every day doing the things that excite her. She says, “I won’t settle for anything less.”

As is customary, we like to suggest something that was either directly suggested or inspired by our featured blogger, in this case, Stacie Walker. One of the things that I learned from Ms. Walker while interviewing her, was the advantages that she experienced by choosing to hire a virtual assistant (VA)

The tricky thing is, who do we hire? How do we know who the best person is? Are there risks in hiring the wrong person (i.e. theft, etc.)? Are we worrying too much? Are we worrying too little?

Hey, even I tried the Fiverr method and that didn’t work for me. It is true that Fiverr is inexpensive, but after three to five failed attempts, you realize that maybe that isn’t the way to go to find a qualified, reliable virtual assistant.

Then, someone suggested using Craig’s List. I have to admit, I am not an expert, so I went in search of help on Google (another helpful tool for Bloggers!). I found an article that explains how I can get a Virtual Assistant, just like Stacie did! It is called “Simple Craigslist Job Posting Tips that Deliver Real Candidates.”

So, check out the article and see if you can use the tips to find your Virtual Assistant (VA) if that is where you are in your blogging business. Or, we ask Stacie for more tips on the topic of VAs. 🙂

Her podcast, Reach Your Next Level of Greatness, was recognized as one of the Top 100 Small Business Podcasts in Small Business Trends 2014 Edition. As Stacie puts it, “It’s crazy because I only had 10 episodes!”

Stacie Walker’s Aspirations (and some Inspiration!)

The current project that Stacie is working on is her first online conference, The Ambitious Mompreneurs Summit, happening from February 27th – March 3rd, 2017.

She says that she sees so many women putting themselves on the back burner and putting their dreams on hold, so she is making it her mission to change that. A very worthy mission, at that!

Stacie brought together 30 featured speakers who are revealing their personal experiences as mothers and successful business owners – the good, the bad, and the ugly (very similar to her book!) We are talking some major inspiration and possibly life-changing outcomes, as a result. It is easy to see how Stacie fits the category of “Famous Blogger,” isn’t it?
