5 Reasons Why People Don’t Prefer Guest Blogging

Guest Blogging

Guest blogging for other blogs of a favorite niche is a kind of passion and another way of making money by just doing the same exact blogging tasks you are already used to follow on your own blog!

But many normal people don’t prefer to guest blog but just wish to have their own blog never-mind the difficulty in designing and developing a blog.

Here is why people do so:

Being afraid that the administrator may ban you.

Just say the admin that you are a first-timer and sure they may or may not approve your post, but they’ll help you improve and they’ll never ban you.

Wondering whether it will earn you some money or not

Some websites allow adding AdSense code and have a revenue sharing program while some have competitions for guest bloggers just as FamousBloggers have. There are, of course, blogs which does not give you any kind of income but will definitely earn you a lot of fame. And you know, fame is priceless.

Being jealous

This may not be accepted by any guest blogger openly, but it is very much true. Being jealous of a blog’s owner and not writing posts in it to prevent him earn name and fame is also a major thing in guest blogging. What if he earns more than you? After all he is your mate, right?

Will the owner of the blog help me in anyway?

Of course he will. You write a post, tweet it and share it in Facebook, hence driving a pretty much of traffic to his blog. He too, will promote your blog and he will guest post in your blog (If it is of the same niche)

Giving credits to the wrong person

Saved the best for the last. Suppose that I have written this article, and you credit Hesham saying:

Nice post, Hesham.

What should I feel like? This is the most frustrating thing that could happen to any guest blogger. The only solution to this problem is the person who has been credited by mistake should say to the commentator whom to credit. That may prove to be an extra motivation to the guest author.

Do you write guest posts? If yes, what are the difficulties you face in guest blogging?
